Meet Your Co-Head Coaches

Coach Kat

Coach Kat has been playing underwater hockey since 2006, starting at the University of Illinois. She has been on 4 USA Worlds Teams: 2013 Women's Elite; 2018, 2023, & 2025 Women's Masters (Capt on the 2025 team). For 4 years she coached the GMU UWH team. Starting a youth underwater hockey team has been a dream of hers - hopefully this is just the beginning!
Starting around age 7 and throughout high school, Coach Kat was swimming at NVSL A & B meets; mainly as a butterflier. She works for FCPS - previously as an art teacher and now as tech support.

Coach Andrew

Coach Andrew has only been playing underwater hockey for a few years. But he is equally passionate about getting youth to play this new sport that he recently found. He has attended club-level tournaments and clinics to learn as much as he can!

Other Coaches

We have about 5 other coaches who will be joining us throughout the course. They range from 8 - 30 years of experience. They have played across various levels: college, club, and some have played on multiple Worlds Teams.
